While our bidet seats and attachments are designed to fit most modern toilets, it's important to note that they may not be compatible with certain older or specialty models.
Our bidet seats come in elongated or rounded versions to accommodate various toilet shapes. Likewise, our bidet attachments are suitable for both elongated and rounded toilet seats.
Toilets generally come in two bowl shapes: elongated and round. Round toilets are typically found in older or basic models, while elongated toilets are common in modern, deluxe designs.
Elongated toilets have an oval-shaped bowl, as depicted below. If you're unsure about your toilet type, follow these steps to measure it for a bidet seat or attachment:
- Measure the length of the bowl from the seat hinge's two mounting bolts to the front of the toilet bowl in a straight line. For round bowls, this measurement is around 16-1/2 inches, and for elongated bowls, it's approximately 18-1/2 inches.
- Measure the distance between the toilet bolt holes. If this distance is shorter than 5.5 inches or longer than 7.5 inches, it may indicate incompatibility.
- Confirm that the distance between the bolt holes and the toilet tank is at least 1.5 inches.
